Bezalel

The Original Kingdom Creative

By MezmurPublished 5 months ago • 1 min read

God alone is worthy,

and He actively seeks those who worship Him

in Spirit and in Truth—

because He is both.

We are image bearers of Him,

prepared unto good works

established from the beginning.

Our example is the first person

filled with His Spirit.

He was not a prophet,

a priest,

or a potentate.

He was not a pastor.

He was a prodigy—

an artist.

The original Kingdom Creative.

Bezalel.

Anointed by God,

filled with His Spirit—

of knowledge,

working in Truth—

the very words of God’s mouth

imparted on Bezalel’s heart

the perfect blueprint

for his production.

Bezalel, filled

with a vision from God,

a heavenly revelation,

a faithful reflection

of His dwelling—

wrought with rigor,

whittled work,

worthy of the Way Maker.

Art in every stroke—

gold, silver, and bronze work,

cutting of stones, carvings of wood,

working in every craft,

as he should…

Bringing reflection

from God’s people.

Correction

in their affection,

in the direction

of God's perfection.

We are called

to be Bezalels

in our own right.

Gifts imparted to each,

through God’s own might—

we are to worship as we create,

and act on visions of the night,

based in the Truth

of the Word of His mouth,

declaring His Gospel

north to south,

east to west.

Old man laid to rest—

back to the dust

where we failed the test.

What’s this I feel inside my chest?

Heart of stone

turned into heart of flesh.

The only thing more moving

than His rejection

is the way we now rise

with His resurrection.

How much more

are we to worship now,

The beauty of His love

Makes me want to bow

Cause veil first designed by Bezalel—

Like a bell, sounded freedom

From death and Hell

Oh that veil

torn in twain (that’s two)—

Means God made a way

for me and you

To be born of the Spirit

And rejoice in Truth

He no longer dwells

In structures made of gold—

As He once foretold,

He’d dwell in those He wove

by His own hand—

inside the temple

of the hearts of man.
