Between the Together an' Apart
Poem.
Ah started writin' this tae tell ye summit today
How ye make me feel, how Ah ken it's real
An' no jist daft in ma auld bald heid
After so long thegither, all kinds o' weather
It makes sense tae stop, an' appreciate ma lot
That yer still who Ah want an' need
Ah ken Ah'm no easy tae live wae,
Ah'm no very easy tae love at times
this ain't no fairytale or Disney,
no love is
Ah'm sorry as well,
Ah or we didnae sail well
When the choppiest o' seas were avoidable
But Ah am an' always will be,
tryin' ma best,
love.
ma heart beats quicker...
Knowin'
That the stillness
Oh the stillness
The quietness
Meditative but paralysing silence
will be filled
with yer presence
once again
No long noo
Between the together
an'
apart
For the good lady above, who was away visiting family in England, but is back home now.
