"Betrayal's Glory" J.R.H.
A trillion dollar bet, yes,
But even more than all that!
Life and world thrown in distress,
Vicious, petty, tit for tat!
Treasures all stolen and lost,
Castle sacked and temple burned,
Ground salted and greater cost,
To darkness the hearth keep turned!
Trusted more than all the rest,
Given respect, loved by all...
For smallness of heart, failed the test,
Betrayal cruel, brought the fall.
Defeated? Too late for them...
Those who're paid in stolen gold!
The Chosens' lights seem to dim,
They serve... as in days of old.
Bright dawn awaits these true souls.
Suffering much, as must be,
The Next Life, and glowing coals
Starships to fly, Moon and Sea!
Words broken, honor sold cheap,
Weak spirits given to fear,
Special Promises to keep,
For those whose danger is near.
Seven pieces of silver,
Will send oathbreakers to Hell,
The world in peril's river,
Back to the beginning's, fell!
Pain and loneliness for Light.
One broken into sad two,
Stand now, to do what's right,
The World once again'll renew.
In the end, far horizons!
She will fly out and far,
Making Starbeam's healing runs.
Daughter and Mother of the stars.
At the last, hordes of Darkness,
He will hold the harbor line,
Star-scarred armor --- Without rest!
His death will make the stars shine!
