I remember that I said
please
but not one listened in the darkness...
not one heard the deafening
-scream-
like raindrops shattering the piece of glass
thrown
off
a window pane
now all I have left is
pain
and it crawls
-up-
my spine into my shoulders
into my brain.
I have nothing to go by
and nothing to help me
but straining to listen to the
jolting electricity behind my head.
My brows,
raised,
my jaw,
clenched,
not looking behind me but still...
not looking behind my eyes
protruding sensations of horror,
nightmares and sensations of terror.
I'm sorrowful.
No sleep.
Not a moment of relaxation,
muscles strained against reason
and temptations
oh temptations...
Will we ever be free?
