Autumn arrived rather quickly this year.
Many loved summer and looked at fall with fear.
Yet as the beautiful shades of autumn start to come.
The enjoyment of baking brings happiness to some.
The scents of apple and pumpkin linger in the air.
The joys of attending many a fall fair.
The sounds of nature, and wildlife appear.
Thanksgiving will soon be here.
Sitting around the table, a time to reflect.
On memories in our hearts we are so blessed to collect.
The cameras take photos for years to come.
Memories of yesterday passed for some.
The shades of leaves from yellow, orange and red.
Walks on the trails, new beginnings of Autumn as it has been said.
Is the beginning of a new season for all.
Embrace every moment that is given to you this "fall".
Hoping you will share your memories of fall with me.
Yours truly

Steffany Ritchie sounds like wonderful memories. I remember cinnamon sticks my mom use to put in our apple cider. It's wonderful to hear from you. Thank you for your kind words.
Lovely poem, warm and evocative! I feel nostalgic for home, for New England the most this time of year. I miss hot apple cider and sweater weather and antiquing with my Mom!
