i wish i could go back in time to the start
before i lost my best parts of myself
back when my heart was not broken
i wish i never lost all of innocence so young
i wish i never experienced my first love
i lost who i was at such a young age
and it is getting to the stage
where i do not know who i am at all
and it is has been a long while
since on my face was a real smile
my happiness has been missing for far too long
i just need the courage again to be strong
