Becoming Known
In every story, every confession,
I am discovered slowly,
piece by piece,
as I discover you.
There is a delicate reverence
in this knowing,
a quiet intimacy
that exists before the first kiss,
before words can fully capture it.
We are already home
in each other’s presence,
even if we do not yet call it that.
