Beauty and the Beast

In a land of magic and myth,

There lived a girl with a heart so pure,

And a fearsome beast with a soul adrift,

Whose love for her would endure.

She saw beyond his fearsome guise,

To the heart that beat within,

And he looked into her gentle eyes,

And felt his own heart begin.

They shared a love that knew no bounds,

A love that defied all reason,

For in each other, they had found,

She saw his heart, so pure and true,

And loved him for who he was,

And he, in turn, saw her beauty anew,

And loved her without a pause.

Together they roamed the forest wild,

Hand in hand, heart in heart,

At the love that they had found,

To keep their hearts unbound.

No matter the shape or form,
