Be Kind and Loving to All
Be kind and loving to all you meet
Some walk through storms on weary feet
Smiling faces often hide
The tears and pain they keep inside
A gentle word can heal the soul
And help a broken spirit feel whole
Kindness leaves a lasting light
Inside the darkest longest night
Too many hearts feel left behind
Searching this world for warmth to find
One act of care, one honest smile
Can make the suffering pause awhile
No soul was made to feel alone
Or carry sadness on their own
Love costs nothing when it’s shared
Still means everything when someone cared
The world grows heavy filled with hate
People judging, hearts turning cold with fate
So choose compassion every day
And help the hurting find their way
Be loving even through your pain
Do not let bitterness remain
Because the smallest kindness shown
Can save a heart close to letting go
