Be charming. But not too much.

Be smart, but keep it soft.

Be the fun time party girl who never spills her drink.

Be wanted. Just not inconveniently.

Be the kind of dinner guest who clears her own plate and her presence.

Take the trip.

Put it on credit.

Post the photo where you're laughing. Pretend it wasn’t for them.

They're waiting to be jealous of your joy.

Work out like it’s self-love.

Get the rig. Make it look like healing.

Be a good daughter.

Let them believe they raised you right.

Send the photo where your eyes still smile.

Be successful.

Be grateful.

Don’t ask for more.

Be fulfilled.

Or fake it.

Be better.

Be doing better.

Be killing it.

Everybody is so. proud. of. you.

Reply faster.

Ask better questions.

Be the one who remembers their birthday and forgets your own.

Go to that thing.

The one you said you were too tired for.

Laugh at the joke.

Be chill about the couple.

You’re not the third wheel, you’re the vibe.

Be the late-night text.

Be the "you up?"

Be the body that doesn’t ask.

Say you’re just having fun.

You're having fun.

Have the line.

Have another.

Drink like you’re not counting.

Laugh like you didn’t come here to forget.

Are you having fun?

Smile for the story.

Let them leave you hanging.

Don’t check your phone.

Not yet.

Wait.
..

Now.

Pretend it doesn’t matter.

Say it doesn't matter.

Be the girl who said she wouldn’t do this again while doing it again.

Be better.

Be the girl who doesn’t cry at the party.

Be the one who gets over it fast.

Be a bad ass bitch who forgot what she was proving.

Be nice.

Be smart.

Be funny.

Be empty.

Be still.

Be gone.
