Backbenchers of School

Backbenchers of school, they sit and chat,

During the lessons, they're never flat.

Laughing and joking, having fun,

Their mischief never seems to be done.

The teacher frowns, and gives them a glare,

But they're lost in their own little lair.

Their minds are wandering all over the place,

While the rest of the class is learning at pace.

The backbenchers may not score the highest grades,

But they always have fun in their own ways.

Their funny wisecracks and silly jokes,

Makes everyone around them burst in strokes.

They never abstain from pranks and fun,

They’re truly the ones under the sun.

Laid back and full of glee,

Backbenchers of school will always be the key.
