Baby

The thought of you plays in my mind like a movie theater

I linger on those thoughts

It makes me feel warm like I’m hugging a heater

Squeaks from your sneakers

As thoughts of you run through my mind

Sit down right here baby I know you must be tired

You got my heart singing shamelessly like a black church choir

This isn’t acid reflux; I think you set my heart on fire

Baby

Lady

Touch me

Feel me

I need a prescription of you

Please baby

Heal me

Squeeze me

I’m yours

Take my eyes with you

I don’t want to see any other girls

My baby

My lady

My future

My past

If it wasn’t with you, it didn’t happen

So don’t even ask
