The leaves are falling, one by one,
Their journey on this earth is done,
As autumn's chill begins to set,
They gently float and softly get.
Each leaf a masterpiece of art,
That nature paints with every heart,
A work of wonder to behold,
In colors of red, brown, and gold.
With every gust of autumn's breeze,
The leaves dance in a waltz with ease,
A symphony of rustling sound,
That echoes through the woods around.
The trees now bare, with branches wide,
Their leaves now gone, nowhere to hide,
But in their absence, we can see,
The beauty of the trunk and tree.
And though the leaves may wither and die,
Their memory will never say goodbye,
For in the soil they'll decompose,
And bring new life for nature's close.
So let us cherish this fleeting sight,
Of autumn's embrace before the night,
And in the falling of each leaf,
Let us find beauty beyond belief.
