Autumn arrives with an awesome array
Alluring colors of amber and ash sway
A crispness creeps into the cooling air
And apples aplenty are everywhere
Adorned in scarves, we amble along
As the afternoon light starts to prolong
Aroma of pies and cinnamon fill
As the leaves on the trees begin to still
Amazing beauty in each autumn day
As the season of change comes out to play
A time to reflect on all that has been
And the promise of what is yet to begin.
