Autumn Goddess
A Sonnet to the Mother of Autumn
This is for a wonderful friend. I canβt say too much about her without giving her identity away , but she is a veritable Goddess and a wonderful Mother. The music I am leading with is Birth Ritual the first track from the EP trilogy "Maiden, Mother, Crone" from Jordan Reyne and is a tale about the absurdity of the gender construct and how we are taught to perform the rituals required of us based on our physicality from birth.

The Goddess is watching , her child , her love
She Weaves Her Spell, Calls Spirits From Above

A flagon of wine , schooner of sherry
Halloween is coming , the Autumn Goddess Says
Prepare for your harvest, and now you must pray
Bounty I give you ,time to make merry

She is a true Goddess, Queen of Autumn
She gives us our harvest . fruit for our wine
She gathers spirits, raising a totem
