if your environment allows, play the above song while reading for a more immersive experience...

take a deep breath... close your eyes for a few moments... then, please enjoy.

` ` `

My Dear Child,

Long days have passed

for this letter to coalesce.

Giving you space – r o o m –

to let your process

...unfold.

.

Many beginnings

has this letter endured.

Chasing certainty, clarity,

a wish to be sure

...trashed.

` ` `

Who am I to say anything?

This life is your own.

Never thirst to control you...

By me, you need not be shown.

.

So, how can I write you?

This 'thing' that I see?

How can I tell you:

This is not about me?

.

I suppose all I can do

is give you my word.

Dear One, may I share with you

something I have observed?

.

You seem to be hiding,

your true face enshrouded

behind a mask of ambivalence,

busy-ness, overwhelm... clouded.

` ` `

I have watched you observe the Injustices

our Society & Cult-ure present:

Corporations cheat systems for profit.

For you? Two full-time jobs to make rent.

.

You swam through daily-modified headlines,

shifting narrative, till even the Pundits were spent.

Politicians spun lies for three years as: 'science'.

A living-corpse puppet for a President.

.

It doesn't end here,

there's much more you've sighted:

Inflammatory causes

keep the masses divided.

.

You see through the mayhem...

a 'grand theme' emerging:

The one goal of this madness?

Keep the people diverging.

` ` `

This infuriates you. I see it.

Clear in the taut lines of your face.

Your smile on Insta and TikTok looks

stretched, uncharacteristically fake.

.

"But anger is childish," you claim,

"An emotion for the 'unawakened' and old."

Dear One: Anger is greater than Apathy.

Ambivalence, Denial... these leave the heart cold.

.

You are right about one thing:

Anger is not the end-goal we are seeking.

It should be used as a stepping stone

to energize

the creation of a new world into being.

.

So let us call this: Authentic Anger.

This Anger that empowers our change.

Do you see the difference, between anger and Anger?

Do you see that, in truth, there's a range?

.

Not all Anger is evil.

Not all Anger is wrong.

When you are in the weakness of Apathy...

Anger is fire, making you strong.

.

So, my Dear Child, let yourself be Angry.

You're not a bad person if you do.

Then move through your Anger to Acceptance of the fact that:

Change only happens through You.

.

If enough people let themselves do this,

our world can assuredly be healed.

The villains lose all of their henchmen;

corporations, all toxic yield.

.

Progress will sometimes seem slow.

At times, you may even despair.

Remember always, this one truth:

It is enough that You care.

.

You can control only You --

I know that you know this already.

It's enough to lead by example,

holding your inner sight steady.

.

You know Who You Are, I feel it.

Your Heart, made of Starfire and Light.

Come out, once and for all, from hiding.

Do what You Know to be Right.

'

All My Love,

Evolution

Very nice Tony. Plenty of layers to he peeled with this, which is never a bad thing. And the flow was solid. Weaved a great narrative. I liked this: "Cult-ure" Very clever.

Wow! This was Epic! and a definite contender for the challenge. Hearted and subscribed.

So very true, and the music added a nice touch. I always tell my clients that anger can either be used for transformation, or it can be repressed, which causes depression. Depression is anger people don’t feel the right to have, and the pharmaceutical companies are making a killing. Meanwhile, nothing is changing for the better.
