You are Earth and, I, the moon. Much held within you.
I am but flesh, a fragment of you.
Tossed among star dust, I orbit, hiding in your silhouette.
But phase, face the sun, you of day and I of night.
No moments pass where we aren’t same.
Here I spin night or not.
A guided gaze falls upon your face.
Rib or crust alike, we are not a match or mate.
Yet, vision of I and you, set forth in path to stay.
