30 days down the drain again
at the bottom of the bottle.
"its just a beer" is how it starts
every time, same old line.
down a bottle, just one more.
can't stand up, falling on the floor.
Lost her job, Can't pay rent.
Couch to couch, friend to friend.
Will the cycle ever end?
Someone help her!
Fuck, We've tried.
She doesn't hear us, locked inside
the prison of her mind.
