Ask The Devil, He Knows

Pure Hell's Fire

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 2 years ago • Updated 2 years ago • 1 min read

I was found about where I was left

Without color, soulless, Bereft

Knowing a precious part must die

So the best parts of me could survive

I then jumped the fence and headed south

To hear the words straight from his mouth

I looked that devil in the eye

And smiled when he began to cry

He begged forgiveness for his part

In tearing up my fragile heart

Then admitted he was filled with terror

As he watched me sew it back together

If you wanna know what he's talking about

Cross me again, and you’ll find out
