Paradise Lost in the Heart

Eden's embers smolder, where love once did bloom,

A tapestry of ash, consumed by grief's gloom.

Thorns of regret pierce the soul, where roses once swayed,

Leaving a garden barren, dreams forever decayed.

Your name, a whispered curse, on the wind's mournful sigh,

Haunts the desolate chambers, where laughter used to lie.

Each tear, a searing river, carving canyons deep,

Where promises dissolved, secrets the shadows keep.

Can this wasteland ever bloom, beneath a healing rain?

Can forgiveness unfurl, where sorrow holds its reign?

Or will Eden remain, a monument to what's lost,

A reminder of paradise, at an unbearable cost?
