From a distance it seemed like a good idea to me,
Following this fantasy we seemed to hold in our hands like crystal, cradled so delicately to keep it from shattering.
From far away it looked like it could work,
This image we projected to carry us to tomorrow in its warm embrace as we hid away from reality in our own world of meaningless gestures and false hope.
From across the horizon I saw you shining,
Brighter than a thousand stars you stood still while every little imperfection was blurred by your charm and lost behind your eyes.
From here I see you as you are.
