As Dusk Becomes Dawn,

We find our way to carry on,

But we have our moments of weakness regardless of how strong,

So we look back at the past & say "so long",

We felt as if we've been dealt a bad hand & done wrong,

Nonetheless we strive for a better future & pray for the pain to be gone,

"What's done in the dark will come to light" but is that when it's all said & done?

We still hold onto the scars from our past battles that we lost & won,

& even though we keep fighting all we just want is someone close by that we call The One,

Because home is where the heart is so the love should be as potent as the Sun,

We often forget that as we argue with each other & the pain comes back, it feels like a ton,

Just remember that communication is key otherwise a relationship is no fun,

So as we go back & forth with our loved ones,

Never forget to hold onto one another As Dusk Becomes Dawn...
