Aquamarine

Floating...

Her heart is an ocean - Aquamarine while in her being.

Seafoam frothing gentleness - Waves of beauty; attention-thieving.

Vast and soothing in her endlessness, and most would find tiring - All this time I spend admiring...

From the shores of her sea.

Hoping... Swim back to me.

I often step into her waters; her waves are unforgiving.

They often try to drown me; the stones aren't relieving...

...But I somehow always float back as my body just reacts to the sudden lack of oxygen.

Running back to the shore, looking on forevermore - And all I keep on seeing are her waves continue thieving, and don't cradle my belief in this feeling that I get...

When I'm admiring from the shores of her sea.

Waiting... Swim back to me.

I'd let your waves crash into me for good.
