Albeit from me to remind you who we are,

because of the veil, you have forgotten,

Christian theology before you were born a

derelict mortal incapable of recollection.

Eternal souls of sentient beings,

forgotten are the days of our probation.

Golgotha could tell; the ancient lore of

Heaven and Hell.

I digress to a time of endless war,

Justice gave freely to those who fell,

kept in a prison of self-made bars,

lending a hand up the ladder to Heaven.

Many climb, and some may fall.

No journey in God's plan is too small.

Outer darkness awaits the unrepentant, they say.

Please forgive the sinners, we pray.

Quiet and everlasting joy awaits the saints,

restless to find peace from their fallen state.

Spiritual release from worldly cares,

transcendent to a higher sphere.

Under God's guidance, still, we stray,

Valiant saints,

Waiting for that joyous day.

Xenophobes falter to see,

yearning for angelic remediation.

Zealots lend a listening ear with feigned approbation.
