From the darkness it comes
Blunt, harsh
Angry at the sun
Raging at the light that lights my life.
With each breath
Back into the abyss it goes.
Folding back into the darkness
_______________
This is not just a description of my fear or my stress but an exploration of my mental state, which at times works against my well-being.
The struggle with anxiety is a daily fight that often clouds my judgment, obscures my hopes, and interrupts my ability to connect with the joy and peace in my life.
Sometimes I even wonder if there’s an opposite to anxiety. And if so, then it must be heaven being afflicted with such peace.
