Why do they keep coming?
They're never ending
They're covering about every inch of my body
Biting
It's getting excruciating
No matter how much I swat and brush them off
I can't get them all
More just come and take their spot
There's something they want to feast on.
Up my nose they go
Making it hard for me to breathe.
They're squeezing into my eye sockets and crawling past my eyes.
I can feel they're little legs prickling my eyeballs.
It feels like having a bunch of eyelashes stuck in your eyes, only sharper.
I can hear their bodies bumping into each other as they clog my ears.
I can barely hear the outside world anymore.
I can't stand this sensation
My desperation is only worsening
Everything is burning
They're eating away at my brain
I can feel my sanity deteriorating
What do you do
When there's no more sedation
When there's no escaping
And the pain is never ending
When the very thing you want to leave
Is your own body
I can no longer think
I'm past the brink
I'm ready to sink
6 feet deep
I stop resisting
And let them eat at me
Till I can no longer see
Till I can no longer breathe
Till my heart no longer beats
