Anger I

poem

There's a part II :>

Anger... what is it to me?

It's a strange question I haven't explained thoroughly

So while I'm calm let me speak

I have experiences with this one, but only slightly

Anger destroys everything but nothing

It's losing control; It's allowing an emotion to have a foothold

It consumes the doer and the one who beholds it

It's a one way street perhaps a black hole

Many say it's a fire I say it's an overwhelming tide

forever moving strong devouring what's inside

People hate it they truly fear what it causes

It's a weapon of destruction far from harmless

It destroys entire families without any pauses

It leaves unseeable scars and people wonder what the cause is

People see it and wish they didn't

It's used on many things including children

However it does more things; it has many more effects,

including long term suffering, for the generation that's next

It even causes stress when you hear them hateful words

You begin to value yourself less

You see it happen to others and wonder if you're next

It's confusing It creates a mess

It wipes out everything like a witches hex

How can ones emotion cause such catastrophe?

You probably know why, but my answer's complex

In order to understand you have to know why

So let me tell you it may come as a surprise...
