"And You,

Aren't you?

By Anmol ShuklaPublished about a year ago 1 min read
You are worshiping the Light

"Otherwise, you wouldn't

Be staying here,

By my side,

As one of the

Worthless.

"You know damn well;

Who decides what

And who

Are of worth;

And you accept it,

You accept their verdict,

And stay here

Instead of in their

City of light and honor.

"Oh what a wickedness,

What a wicked one..."

So the shadow

Whispers to you

By Phil Botha on Unsplash

Under the ten stars

the Ace of all Hearts ponders:

How is it, that darkness

could reveal what's hidden

in blinding light?

So if dark is not all bad,

and light is not all good,

then what is truly good,

what is truly bad?

Have good and bad

ever been real at all?

Or is it just one of those

ancient tales our ancestors spin

and spin, and spin,

and spin—until we thought

it is no more mere fiction?

But truth;

truth doesn't have to be good or bad.

Truth is just truth,

it is just what it is.

(And you hear it echoes within:

"I am just what I am."
