going to Starbucks for anonymity

(that new one that tastes like

almond iced lattes);

calling a coach for intimacy

but she’s sterile like a well

cleaned-out (very professional) refrigerator;

posting online to advertise my services;

connecting & even overextending over the wires,

getting mine crossed & in too many filters;

almost forgetting what it is - community,

finally!

trying to re-create it in the new conditions.

we’ve seen more adversity,

we were developing animosity;

now we’re making peace with diversity,

while saying farewell to the privacy

with VPNs still giving us

false sense of anonymity.
