Is this the end? Or is there hope?

And It Came To This

I walked out on you...

I walked out on all things you.

I packed my bags, what little of it,

And left to the haven I call home.

I wanted so bad to make your home...

Mine.

But I feel like I've failed

I've failed love

I've failed loved ones

STOP.

NO.

I didn't fail!

You failed me

You with your twisted priorities

You with your lies

I didn't know you were so capable of deceit

Until I heard it from the mouths of others

Others who I never trusted

Because I put all my trust in you

"It's not like I cheated on you," you said.

You might as well have.

I sit with this feeling

Not of pain or hurt..

Not so much of anger, unless triggered..

But of confusion.

What the heck happened?

What the heck am I supposed to do now?

You told me to come back

"When you're comfortable..."

WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?

Therapy.

Friends.

Talks.

Silence.

I've tried everything

I have no answers

I have decided then...

To throw the ball into your court

And see what you make of this game...

Called our life.

Goodbye,

Until then.
