Every gift you’ve given an empty promise made,

Call me a fool for

Listening to words never spoken.

In memory, with distance and time, my

Pieces begin to fit, but I find I’m

Still, and forever,

Eclipsed by you.

About the Creator

kp

I am a non-binary, trans-masc writer. I work to dismantle internalized structures of oppression, such as the gender binary, class, and race. My writing is personal but anecdotally points to a larger political picture of systemic injustice.
