To you, I'm but a moth

And you've nothing to prove

Translucent wings, languidly soft

Lured to your flame, Api Biru

Helplessly, all fear erased

As through your embers we dance

There is no need to be chased

I am transfixed in your trance

A single singe sparks and excites

Ash floats, granting it's offering

Glowing like northern lights

The gentlest of smiles, before the slaughtering

for no matter how dim or flush is this firestorm

I will draw near to your embers

Dying to keep myself warm

January to December

Till all that is left is my memory

We rode loves flame

Till you stole the last breath from me

A/N

Api Biru (Blue Fire) at Mount Ijen

This is a spectacular phenomenon where burning sulfur gases ignite on contact with air, creating stunning blue flames that appear to flow like lava down the slopes of the volcano.

The Javanese term for this is Api Biru.
