Being in Solitude

An Introvert

Amidst the noise and endless chatter,

I find myself longing to scatter,

Away from the crowds and all the fuss,

Into a world where it's just us.

A world of quiet and gentle peace,

Where solitude and introspection increase,

And the serenity of being alone,

Feels like a place I can call my own.

For I am an introvert who loves to dwell,

In the depths of my own private shell,

Where I can think, create and dream,

And be lost in my own silent stream.

So let the extroverts have their fun,

And enjoy their socializing under the sun,

For I'll be content in my own retreat,

Where my soul can find its own heartbeat.
