Let me introduce you to an earthly ubiquitous delight

Dear Esteemed Visitor to our “terrestrial ball”

I discern that your insectile eyes have become bright

As the caffeine drip pours into your otherworldly brain.

Aren’t these quaint buildings which house our delectable offering

The coziest that your little grey eyes ever saw?

The warm glow of the lights are softening

To the steely pallor of your skin.

Here, have a croissant or a scone on me.

Spread them with jam, or drizzle them with honey.

Pairs perfectly with a cuppa Joe, don’t you agree?

They are delicious whether buttered or plain.

We present to you a smorgasbord of flavors

Hazelnut, almond, pistachio if you’re feeling nutty

I recommend that with every sip you savor

The allure of Earthlings’ favorite beverage is how we begin.

Besides, brewed coffee, you could have a latte,

Or a cappuccino if you’re feeling frothy

A little espresso will have you moving from lento to andante

Without it, we mortals would be lost and unproductive.

Mochas are full of chocolatey goodness.

Add pumps of raspberry, caramel, toffee

To ingratiate yourself to the human race in fullness,

Pumpkin spice is key for appearing festive.

Humans enjoy watching the sky fade from blue to lavender

As they linger to share in conversation

Do they talk of nothing? Or everything? It’s all a blur.

Business deals and interplanetary alliances here are most constructive.

Perhaps you would like to participate in an interstellar trade

We brought you here for this communication.

What material creatures love most is a buck to be made,

An export to enrich our species and rule the galaxy is most attractive!
