An emotion:

We all feel it, in its varying degree.
A shifting sense within our inner sphere
That changes with our hearts turns, constantly,
It's what makes us human: so percievantly.

A diverse array of feeling, like none before
From joy, sadness, fear, rage, and adoration.
From moments of grieving to moments of bliss,
Most often all blended, layered with lips.

Emotion, so powerful and deep,
A profound and moving energy we keep
It surges throughout us, it's the light of our soul
And it makes us feel whole, incredible and whole.

It can bring us so high and so deep,
Bringing beauty and darkness it is still unseen
So much power in something so finite and small,
Yet so vibrantly moving, calling us to its all.

Sometimes we can't control it, bubbling inside
Not always gentle, it is patient, a wild ride.
Yet, no matter if it brings us pain or joy
It will still come and go, a true and emotion ploy.

Though its essence might stir, terrify, and move,
It still offers us a chance to truly break through.
It is a teacher, a friend, and a flame,
It is the stronger and wiser us, surging in our veins.

It's what carries us, so undiscovered and brave,
Through the darkness and light, to an emotion--so brave.
It's this thing that changes us from the inside out,
A universal energy, soaring and loud.

About the Creator

Dharu

Everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self doubt.
