An alphabetical poem

Amidst the shadows, a feline dance,

Beneath the moonlight's mystic trance.

Curled in corners, whiskers twitch,

Dreaming of a moonlit pitch.

Eyes aglow, a hunter's stare,

Furry whispers fill the air.

My grandson's cat called Rocket - Photo by Denise Larkin

Gentle purrs, a velvet song,

Harmony where they belong.

In the garden, they prowl and prowl,

Jumping softly, nimble and foul.

Kittens play, a tumbling spree,

Leaping with unbridled glee.

Midnight prowlers, sleek and sly,

Napping underneath the open sky.

On rooftops high, they find repose,

Paws that pad where moonlight glows.

Quivering tails in a moonlit haze,

Restless spirits in a quiet daze.

Silhouettes against the night,

Tales of mystery take their flight.

Underneath the starry dome,

Vigilant guardians find a home.

Whiskered faces, secrets keep,

Xanadu where dreams may creep.

Yearning for the dawn's first light,

Zephyrs carry dreams in flight.

Hi Denise - So glad I've just discovered your eclectic offerings. *As I scroll through your presentations I've subscribed with pleasure looking forward to viewing more of your Shorts. I'm not into contests/rewards; I'm Ai~Less. I'm just a retired legal professional morphed into a self described 'Goof Writer; nothing more.
