Alone

No more me and you

Alone

The silence crawls across my floor tonight

Your shadow lingers where you used to stay

Cold stars are fading far beyond my sight

While empty echoes slowly pull away

A shattered heart still beats inside my chest

Purple flames rise high through every scar

The lonely dark refuses me my rest

Your memory drifts like smoke from afar

Black feathers fall around this hollow room

Each whispered thought cuts deeper than before

The air is heavy carrying lost perfume

I trace your name beside a broken door

These sleepless nights keep tearing me apart

I hide my tears beneath a pale moonlight

A thousand cracks still split this weary heart

Still no one stays to hold me through the night

I watch the fading embers lose their glow

The pain keeps dripping slowly through my veins

Your absence burns far deeper than you know

Like endless storms that drown me in the rain

The stars look down and never say a word

Their distant shine cannot revive my soul

Inside this cage no comfort can be heard

This loneliness has swallowed every goal

I reach for dreams that vanish in the dark

My shaking hands still search for what was real

Your love became a dying fragile spark

Now every wound refuses still to heal

So here I stand with ashes in my hands

A lonely soul beneath the endless sky

No voice remains that truly understands

Just broken wings that never learned to fly
