Almost

To meet a soul mate

Being seen is fluid

We're always changing pace

Moving consistently through inconsistency

Keeping up with the race

The beauty of the pain

Shapes our memories frames

The colors of our labels

The spectrum of our perspective

The happiness of life, is quite simple you see

It all comes down to choice

And what you choose to see

I saw your sun from far away

Masking your veil of dark

As if our souls had been together

While our bodies were apart

The familiar energy

The knowing without knowing

Feeling you from a distance

Coming and going

We all have more than one

I believe there's a million, you see

Souls that are entangled

And on occasion we have the chance to meet

In this dimension, we'll get it right

It'll be the best right thing, at the right time

Instead of the cruelty, of another almost

Of the almost best thing
