All We Have Is Now
A Poem About Pain By Karmen Grey
A heart filled with pain
A mind filled with rage
It’s a beautiful day; the clouds are fluffy as cotton candy
The pain in my heart follows me through this journey of finding my sanity
Will my dreams come true?
Are my kids proud of me?
I am feeling so out of place with myself.
My inner feeling and my mind are fighting each other.
What do you do when that happens to you?
Revel the layers of my souls to the wrong souls is a combination of dismay and confusion.
(Written during withdrawal of antidepressants and anxiety medication)
