All My Flowers Die
A breakup poem

I adored discourse, you loathed verbose.
I craved wild, lilac empires,
you dreamt of white, picket homes.
I cared for dragon fruit, you:
πpared-down tastes & tones.
All my flowers die
(when you mute)
purple
