White and black
Was all I saw
You were the color
That started it all
At first you came
As a vibrant red
A new life only

The light streamed in
A soft golden yellow
Take a chance
Speed it up, take it slow
The light turned into
A bright glowing Orange
Filled with everything
Promises of evermore and
Fields of dreams, the future
Is magnificent lush Green
Unlimited options
Everything in between
A want to pass on eyes
Of electric magnificent Blue
Counting down until
August air brings in the new
Italian coasts and nights of
Wine soaked Violet
Clothes stray across the floor
Shadows created by candles lit
I saw this in the moment
Our eyes met and I knew
My forever would always
Belong to you.
