at the tip of my fingers

on the tip of my tongue,

standing up on my tiptoes

to feel the sun

*

just out of reach

somehow out of time

another lesson between

paradox and paradigm

*

i cannot unsay

what has never been said

i cannot replay

the words stuck in my head

*

stuck on my tongue

with no way to break free

like a song that's unsung

or a drop in the sea

*

building bridges to bridge gaps

that separate me from thoughts

creating new maps

to avoid fights, already fought

*

redesigning someone better, than she was before

i before me, walking through a new door

erasing mistakes, boldly scrawled, on the floor

to stop me from measuring what i did once more

*

eliminating molehills

to stop the mountains from climbing

wearing kid gloves, with my feels

to feed the chaos, I'm hiding

*

so many faces, with only one name

i, her and she, we're all one and the same

learning to like this reflection i see

coming to copes with my identities

love poemssurreal poetry
