Alignment of the Elements

Cool morning air, lingers crisp,

bird's wings wisp.

Caves and corals crave recognition.

Fish, sluggishly swim by with no hint of dissension.

Herbs and hills sparkle with dew,

Squirrels and beavers can be spotted, but just a few.

Deer, they duck out of sight,

leaping, their hooves are mysteriously light.

The rhythm of my heart lulls...

my tolling soul.

How could I ever force myself to go back inside that musty gray

building today?
