Alchemy Moon: Forbidden Ruins
My Soul's Secret
They could shoot every star from the sky,
and only yours would remain.
Even if the entire heavens were emptied,
somehow your light would endure in their place.
They may extinguish every burning point,
scatter every constellation, and strip the sky of its light—
my flame, it would not matter.
Because you are not— nor were you ever— merely a single star to me.
You are the entire galaxy by which I navigate the night.
Forevermore. Forevernight.
Somewhere beneath this enormous sky,
there is a light that bears your name.
Not because the stars belong to us,
but because sometimes we need one sacred place
to mark what truly matters.
A place we always have, always seek, always need.
You are my reprieve.
For me, you are and always will be—the star that remained.
Of all the infinite lights in the universe,
this is the one that knows your name.
It speaks it in languages unspoken,
uttering your name in tongues not chosen.
You are the words of poetry embellished in the cosmos,
the architect of symmetry unrefined. My heart, my life, my love.
You called me your moon,
so I gave the night a song for you.
Let this be a melody for the dark hours,
for quiet water rippling beneath silver beams of light—
and for everything we have never needed to say aloud
but instinctively knew.
My night song, my golden starlight. Let us not be forgotten on this plane.
Let this be the music between us—
the space where the moon finally finds her lover,
and the stars keep our secrets.
Forevermore.
