Age

Something I wrote in my novella, 'The Juvenile Anthologies.'

age

We were young once.

Somewhere along the lines I grew up too fast.

Broken glass.

Broken dreams.

I reflect too much and regret too much.

We’re leaves growing older by the seasons dying next to each other but some of us leave with the wind too early.

I’m a yellow leaf and I'm lonely in my own exile in another life.

I've traveled with the wind.

I'm in my next life.

I grew up too fast.
