Opposites.

I could stay like this forever. In our own little bubble. Stuck in a perfect dream.

Can I keep you?

In this messy bed.

Hidden beneath the moon. Lost in skin. Lips full of wine and gentle lies. Each whispered breath drawn away with the midnight melancholy, that slowly starts to set in. Post coital clarity that clarifies the lines we’ve blurred. The boundaries we put in place yet ignore time and time again.

Water and fire

just don’t mix.

So we presumed.

Tell me I’m yours I want to say. Right there on the tip of my tongue. Knowing one, stupid silly little question could decimate us. Obliterate this fragile precipice we’ve perched on for so long.

Push me over the edge. End me.

I’ll take your hand so you’ll go down with me.

We’ll die together. One right after the other.

Me for you. You for me.

In the same coffin.

Forever.

My grave.

Or yours.
