The more I learn about the world, the less I want to be a part of it.
No longer suicidal
But I’d much rather be in the comfort of home wrapped in the peace of God’s safe love.
Epsom salt baths with soft jazzy beats playing.
Kiefer’s rendition of “Everybody loves the sunshine” starting off the playlist with bold trumpets blaring and intermingling with eager piano notes
My fingers tapping along the side of the tub
Of course I have to play along
My soul exhaling as my mind relaxes and remembers
“And this too shall pass”
“Joy will come in the morning”
“Trouble don’t last always”
They say raise a child up in the way they should go and they will never depart all the days of their life. Pretty sure that’s in Proverbs as well.
But some training has become obsolete.
I will no longer perform for love.
I will no longer stay in places where I am not appreciated.
I will no longer accept half stepping.
I will no longer feast on breadcrumbs.
I will no longer compromise self in the name of love.
Love me freely and fully or no longer have access to me. Period.
