Soft curves and velvet hair.
Adoring eyes captivate,
Caught in remembering.
Vision’s edges catch pointed gaze.
Be still. Don’t spook the creature.
Let the look last,
Allowing soul’s imbibing the Beloved
Quickened pulse, instant alert.
Beauty stands closely.
Every aspect sweetly held,
In Adoration’s learning eyes.

The Eyes That Never Close
What does a voice say when it has brushed eternity? What words suffice to sum it up? Composed they sit...Silent. Resolved, they act out their narrative in the weathering blue stone that ages even the innocent. Wizened beyond their childlike forms, they weep with the rain and whistle with the wind. They who see, but do not speak. The watchers of the world.

That essential, sparkling you that you only reveal to a select few. Had I been paying more attention to the stories you are so fond of telling, in which you are invariably author, narrator and protagonist, I would not have been so foolish as to set you up on a blind date. After all, no friend has ever done anything of the kind for another. That’s preposterous. What is a friend, really?
