"Nostalgia for the Joyful Days of Youth"

The memories of childhood days

Of innocent and carefree ways,

Now seem so far and out of reach,

Like echoes from a distant beach.

The days of play and endless fun,

Of laughter under the bright sun,

Of running wild, without a care,

And feeling the wind in our hair.

The taste of sweets and summer fruits,

Of sand between our tiny boots,

The songs we sang, the tales we told,

The dreams we had, so bright and bold.

But now we're grown, the world has changed,

And all those memories feel estranged,

We long for that simple, happy time,

When life was free, and love was prime.

Oh, how we miss those golden years,

When all we knew were joys and cheers,

But though we cannot turn back time,

Our memories keep that spirit alive.
