I felt used, abused

Without a clue

All because the blood was running through my veins

What I’ve learnt is blood don’t connect us no more

In fact the only thing connecting us is the county that we live in but mostly all the pain

So now you think you’ve won

But when you pulled the trigger on the gun

You did nothing but open up the truth

Oh there’s no going back you don’t have a clue

Oh the times they have changed

They won’t even say my name

Only if it’s disdain

But I don’t care

Cuz without them here I feel more at home

And believe me now I know my side

I sure feel less alone
